Homes:  Longwood

Thomas and Mary Brooke Moore built brick Longwood in 1817 around a log core 20 years older. It became a school when owned by George P. Kimmel in the 1940s, served as a Civil Defense facility in the 1950s, and today is a bed and breakfast.
