St. John's Episcopal Church in Olney, dating to 1842, operates a large Parish School for grades K through eight. The church, school, and cemetery occupy parcels of land donated by the Waters family and later by the Charles Oland family. St. John's is the oldest Episcopal church in continuous use in the county.
