The Courtyard is surrounded on three sides by the museum and on the fourth a natural wall of evergreens. Border gardens, designed and maintain by the museum's Garden Club, provide a pleasant backdrop to the Heritage Brick Walkway. The bricks are imprinted with names of families, businesses and local organizations. Helen Bentley donated the 7 acres of land in memory of her husband, Jack Bentley, on which the museum was built.
