CHURCHES: SAINT LUKE'S
St. Luke's
White-clapboard St. Luke's Episcopal Church nestles in oaks at the Brighton crossroad. Built in 1870, for decades it shared ministers with St. John's of Olney and St. Bartholomew's of Laytonsville. It hosts the popular autumn Candle Festival. Twice every Sunday it swells with the tones of its prized pipe organ.
