HOMES: DR. RIGG'S HOUSE

Dr. Rigg's House
Stately Dr. Riggs House (Jordan House), built by Dr. Artemus Riggs c. 1840, offers a harmonious blending of Greek Revival architecture: attic story, muscular front-porch columns, and wide bracketed cornices bracing the roof and porch. Artemus was one of four Riggs brothers to become doctors.
