SCHOOLS: OLNEY PUBLIC SCHOOL
Olney Public School

Pupils of all ages play at recess outside Olney's one-room schoolhouse in 1899. The county school stood on Route 108 just west of St. John's Episcopal Church. It opened in1875 and operated until 1929, when classes shifted to Sherwood.
