Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day happens at the Museum every year on the President’s Day school holiday. Parents and kids are invited to join us for old-fashioned crafts, games, demonstrations of blacksmithing, well-digging, other farm life routines, and music and dancing with Tasker’s Chance Trio.
The 2010 event was sponsored by The Little Gym of Olney. It included fun fitness routines incorporating the tasks expected of farm children.
Our next Family Fun Day is scheduled for February 20th. Join us as we explore the concept of reuse on this environmentally friendly Family Fun Day! Find out how many people have been reusing materials for centuries and explore how people are adapting the term to fit into their lives today. This free family event will incude demonstrations, tours, hands on activities and crafts.
