Sandy Spring Museum Launches Barter Program

A new service is making the local bartering economy a little more legit. Sandy spring Museum has launched the Sandy Spring Museum Exchange, a unique barter program to build deeper relationships between the Museum and the community that it serves. As a local non-profit organization, the Museum relies heavily on donations from members and contributions from local businesses. Sandy Spring Museum Partners with DC Road Runners to Bring Historical 9K Race to Town, Saturday, May 7

WHAT: Combine a lesson in local history with some exercise at the Sandy Spring Nanty Narking Nearly 9 K Run. This trail run takes participants past seven historic sites in the Sandy Spring community.
