A Walk to the Spring

Take a walk through historic Sandy Spring – beginning at the Sandy Spring Meeting House and ending at the Sandy Spring itself.  Guides will provide insight into the area’s historic sites: the Meeting House, historic homes like Auburn and Harewood, the Underground Railroad Experience Trail and the Sandy Spring itself.

Please note – guests should arrive at the Sandy Spring Meeting House, not Sandy Spring Museum

Also this occasion marks the launch of The Sandy Spring, (a booklet authored by amateur historians Rip G. Rice, Delmas Wood, Jr. and Leonard A. Becraft.)  The Sandy Spring is the fifth booklet in the series Short Stories from the History of Sandy Spring and will be available for purchase for $5.00.
