Annual Membership MeetUp

The annual meeting is a time for members to meet, catch up on current news, and take care of business.  Local historian Mark Walston will speak about the identification of slave quarters in Montgomery County, and will provide an overview of the Museum’s upcoming research project on African American communities in the Sandy Spring neighborhood from the late 18th century through the middle of the 20th century.

During this evening’s meeting, Museum members will be asked to vote on proposed by-law changes and on the slate of candidates for the Board of Directors. (Existing by-laws can be found here.)
