The Art of Velvet Pumpkins

Learn the art of making beautiful velvet pumpkins. Instructor, Kathryn Shapiro, is a gifted crafter from Virginia and she will guide participants through each step.  Pumpkins will be accented with real squash stems collected from a local pumpkin farm.  These colorful creations will brighten your home décor. All participants are asked to bring a pair of fabric scissors. A small amount of hand sewing is required for this project. There is a $5.00 material fee for Garden Club members and a $8.00 fee for non-members.  Everyone is welcome to join the Garden Club.  You just need to be a museum member!
