History Happy Hour – Aula de Flamenco

Flamenco is a music and dance tradition hailing from Andalusia, Spain and dates all the way back to the 15th century. This art form is a fusion of ancient Islamic, Jewish, Christian, and Roma traditions. Join us for a night of exploring this UNESCO designated cultural treasure through a lively panel discussion and presentation led by Flamenco artist and scholar Paul Villmoare and featuring TorcuArt board president Manuel Sanchez and TorcuArt board member and Flamenco artist Alma Rodriguez. The discussion will be followed by a live musical performance. Light snacks and Spanish wine will be served during this event.

This program is in partnership with TorcuArt, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing the rich culture of Flamenco and Spanish guitar.

Tickets are $20 per person. TorcuArt and SSM members receive a 20% discount. Not an SSM member? Join today.
