Back by popular demand! Cultura Plenera moves their wildly popular Bomba y Plena en el Parque to the museum grounds. Expect the best in Afro-Puerto Rican music from Los Hijo ‘e Plena, La R, and Víctor Vélez. Have a picnic, take a workshop, and enjoy great live music.

From start to finish, learn the process of making maracas from the common calabash (higüera), used to accompany Puerto Rican bomba. Leave with your own professional-quality maraca. Learn More
