Countryside Artisans Tour

Perfect timing for holiday shopping. The museum’s resident artists are part of this rural artist studio tour. Visit as many studios as you like during this seasonal open house.

Spend a day in the country, enjoy scenic drives between studios, stop for artisan beverages, and meet artists in the beautiful settings that inspire their work every day. The Countryside Artisans of Maryland represents a selected group of accomplished visual, sculptural, and textile artists working in oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil, ceramics, porcelain, glass, enamel, stone, wood, yarn, textiles, photography, tea, hops, and grapes. The Countryside Artisans jointly open their galleries and studios locted in historic, rural Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick Counties in Maryland for three art tours each year in April, October, and December, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm each day
