Fall Membership Meeting

The annual membership meeting is a chance to catch up with museum news, vote on new board members, and learn more about the community.

This evening will also include a lively discussion led by members of the Women’s Association for Mutual Improvement on the finer aspects of corn pudding.  Corn pudding is a dish that dates back to the earliest days of Sandy Spring when local farm families needed to find a use for “old” corn.  We will share the finer points of selecting the right corn, contentious recipe controversies and demonstrate the use of corn scrappers, the essential tool often passed down through generations.  A variety of corn puddings will be sampled.  If you think you have the best recipe, bring your corn pudding and come prepared to defend it!
