Free Ceramics Class for Nature Lovers

Seeking volunteers to help create a work of art in a 90-minute ceramic class at Sandy Spring Museum.   We will be making ceramic forms in the shape of shelf lichen. These ceramic forms will be fitted around the trunk of a selected tree in the museum’s woodlands. This hands-on community project is designed to engage people to collaboratively construct an environmental sculpture in harmony with the site. Participants must be at least 15 years old; class size is limited to 15 people. Come join the fungus among us!  The project is being led by artist Marc Robarge.
