Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

In celebration of Sharp Street United Methodist Church’s 200th anniversary, put your thinking caps on and be part of an interactive trivia game, “Sharp Street Says.” Test your knowledge of local history or learn something new in this entertaining game night filled with fun facts about a cornerstone of the local community.
Sharp Street Church, located locally in Sandy Spring, MD, is the oldest African American Church in Montgomery County. Serving as a pillar of the community for 200 years, Sharp Street Church is often referred to as “the heart of the neighborhood.” Historically, the church has served a purpose that goes beyond spiritual needs. Continuing in this vein, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Diane Dixon-Proctor Sharp Street Church’s work in the community and ministry extends beyond their four walls. In addition to delicious fish fries, they provide a monthly food pantry, children’s ministry, as well as regular health and wellness fairs, to name a few of the services provided by the congregants.
