Inner Light: A Collaboration With ManneqART (exhibit)

A dozen wearable sculptures from ManneqART artists!

In partnership with Sandy Spring Museum, ManneqART challenged artists to create works that explored the concept of “inner light” in their sculptures.  “Inner Light” is a reference to Sandy Spring’s Quaker founders, who believe that everyone has an inner light and that the potential for good exists in everyone.  This concept is represented in the sculptures, which show the duality of good and bad, positive and negative.

The life-sized sculptures on exhibit include the winner of the Inner Light competition, Glacius Angelies, by Lynne Spector and Maddy Halbach of Glenwood, MD.
