Artist Reception – My Life: Marks of A Needle

Meet In Sook Park, the artist whose work is featured in My Life: Marks of a Needle, an exhibit of traditional Korean quilting, which closes on September 23, 2018

This special exhibit highlights an artform that dates back to the 14th century. These quilted patchworks were historically used as wrapping cloths – covering sacred texts, food, or as clothing (“wrapping” a loved one). More than 50 textiles from Korea are on exhibit.
