Meet the Sculptor Tiffany Carmouche

Sandy Spring Museum has been chosen to be the home of the life-size bronze sculpture in memory of Larry Callen, a local children’s book author who was instrumental in mentoring other authors during the 1970s-2000s. The sculpture will be coming to Sandy Spring Museum’s outdoor grounds in fall 2024. We invite you to come, celebrate and learn more about this exciting project that promotes literacy, creativity, adventure and kindness!
Sculptor, Tiffany Carmouche, will share in process photos and behind the scenes look at the sculpture in its early stages. Two local authors, Annette Curtis Klause and Rocky Callen, who were inspired by Larry Callen will share about his influence. Light refreshments will be served and this event is free and open to the public.
