Enjoy local authors giving virtual live readings of their incredible work. The lineup includes contributors from the long-awaited ninth volume of the “Grace and Gravity” series, a literary journal devoted to women writers in the D.C. region, along with our guest reader, Ralvell Rogers II, author of the new book The Kansas City Boys Choir: Providing Hope For Tomorrow. Grab a comfy seat, your favorite beverage, and let these talented writers shine their light all OVER you!
The Montgomery County Underground Reading Series invites all writers ages 16 and up, from novices to veterans, to share their original fiction, nonfiction, and poetry at a quarterly series of free, public readings. Each event will feature six readers total, reading for 5-8 minutes each. MoCo Underground especially encourages student writers to submit and hopes to feature two student readers at each event.
