Take Me Out to the Moco Go-go!

Remember going to the Go-go when you were growing up?  Do you have a Go-go story to tell?  If so, then be sure to attend Take Me Out to the Moco Go-go!   Hosted by Kato Hammond and Dr. Tahira Mahdi from Take Me Out to the Go-Go magazine and guest speaker Go-Go Bouncey, this is your opportunity have your Go-go story shared in a live broadcast and preserved in Go-go history.

Although Go-go is closely associated with Washington, DC and Chuck Brown, its origins can also be found in Maryland and cannot be traced to any one individual.  Let’s make sure Maryland gets credit for its role in Go-go!

Kevin “Kato” Hammond is a musician, journalist, and creator of Take Me Out to the Go-Go magazine and TMOTTGoGo Radio.  Mr. Hammond has performed with bands such as Pure Elegance, Little Benny and the Masters and Proper Utensils.  Dr. Tahira Mahdi is a community psychologist and consultant based in the Baltimore-Washington, DC region.  In addition to her research, she is an arts and entertainment journalist in the Washington, DC region, and a regular contributor to Take Me Out to the Go-Go.
