Supporting Partners’ Programs: Enchanted Evening of Thai Classical Music – Masters Vorayot & Kittima Suksaichon

**Sandy Spring Museum is not hosting or organizing this program. We are sharing this program in support of Suteera Nagavajara—the event’s organizers. Nagavajara is a folklife partner and Advisory Committee Member of the Regional Folklife Center at Sandy Spring Museum.**

Master Vorayot Suksaichon, a celebrated Thai string master and his wife, Kittima Suksaichon, will take you to beautiful Thailand through Thai classical music. They will be accompanied by local Thai musicians from the DC metro area. Master Vorayot specializes in Thai fiddles; namely Saw Duang (two-string fiddle with hardwood body); Saw U (two-string fiddle with a coconut shell body); and Saw Sam Sai (three-string spike fiddle with coconut shell body). Kittima is a master of the Thai hammered dulcimer or the “Khim”.
