Virtual – Fall Color and Winter Interest for Gardens

Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm 4:00 pm

Fall and winter garden beds can sometimes look brown and drab. Kathy Jentz will show you how to spice up your autumn gardens with perennials, ornamental grasses and the fall colors of trees and shrubs. She will review plant materials that can give your fall and winter gardens a real “wow” factor.

Kathy Jentz is editor and publisher of the award-winning Washington Gardener Magazine, host of the podcast Garden DC and co-author of The Urban Garden: 101 Ways to Grow Food and Beauty in the City. She has presented programs at Monticello, the Philadelphia Flower Show, the US Botanical Gardens, Brookside Gardens and other prestigious locations. She has also appeared on regular gardening guest spots on local TV and radio shows. Her mission is to turn black thumbs green! She believes in inspiration over perspiration.

Hosted by the Sandy Spring Museum Garden Club.
