Virtual – Spring Break Transcribe-a-thon

Explore the history of Sandy Spring by transcribing an original archival document, helping to make these fascinating and important artifacts searchable and accessible to all.

On the day of the transcribe-a-thon, a staff member will be available via Zoom to answer your questions and help you through the transcription process. You do not have to stay for all four hours or begin at 11 am.  Feel free to drop in and work for as long as you like.

This opportunity is appropriate for ages 13 and up.  Many documents require the ability to read and transcribe cursive.  SSL hours are available.
