Sandy Spring Museum is delighted to announce the annual Fine Arts & Crafts Holiday Gift Show, taking place from November 24 to December 22, 2023. This event is a key initiative in our mission to connect diverse communities and advance social equity by supporting the local artists and artisans, promoting the sale of locally made, handmade small-batch items available for purchase.
Sales and Commission
Sandy Spring Museum will handle all processing of sales and will take a 30% commission fee. All participants are expected to be in attendance for the individual set up and take down of their vendor booth. The craft show will be on display in the museum in Exhibition Hall for a month.
Artists will be notified of participation selection by November 3, 2023.
–All works must be handmade
– All artworks on display must be for sale
-The price point for works to be sold is between $10-$150
-All artists are at least 18 years old or older
-All artists are Maryland residents, preferably residents of Montgomery County
-All wall hanging artwork will be ready to hang, framed with a hanging wire upon arrival on the Holiday Craft installation day (November 20-23, 2023).
-No perishable food products, loose glitter, strong chemicals that require ventilation, dirt, or decaying ephemera will be permitted in the juried Fine Arts & Crafts Holiday Show.
