The Strawberry Festival

The Strawberry Festival began in 1982 as a means to raise funds for Sandy Spring Museum but in the  years since has become part of Sandy Spring history itself. It is a huge community fair that brings neighbors together to revel in all that Sandy Spring, MD has to offer.

Rent The Museum

Sandy Spring Museum is an award-winning facility set on seven beautiful acres of lush landscaping in the quaint town of Sandy Spring, MD. From a rustic, 19th century barn, to gorgeous trellises on our grounds, floor-to-ceiling windows in the Farquhar Gallery, and exposed beams throughout, we are the perfect backdrop and venue for any occasion.

Resident Artists

Sandy Spring Museum is home to resident artists who meet with visitors, patrons, and clients throughout the week. Stop by to see the artists in their studios, where they often create new work inspired by the Museum’s collections and the great history of our surrounding area.
