Community Gallery:
An Exhibit Space for Everyone
Imagine seeing your art work on display at Sandy Spring Museum! To respond to the large number of requests we receive from artists who wish to exhibit here, we established The Community Gallery. The Community Gallery is for short-term, small-scale exhibits by local artists. You may also rent the gallery for exhibiting personal collections.
Individuals or groups of artists may rent the Community Gallery for $250/month for up to 2 months maximum. If works are for sale, a 30% commission goes to the museum. The gallery is approximately 8x17 feet and has 2 windows with natural light, and is located directly off the main exhibit hall for easy accessibility.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and exhibitions are scheduled based on availability. Artists will be informed of their acceptance within several weeks of submission.
Please find the floorplans HERE.
