Your support makes programming more meaningful, and in turn, makes your membership more enjoyable!

If you choose to become a Digital Member, you will receive all membership-related communications via email, including instructions on how to use your membership benefits and invitations to renew.

Membership FAQs

  • Once you purchase a membership, you will receive a welcome email explaining how to use your membership benefits. You will receive updates on member offers and exclusive content through a monthly members-only enewsletter.

    Your benefits automatically begin when you become a member. Your welcome email will explain how to create a member account in order to access and manage your benefits directly from your account.

  • Your benefits will last for 365 days from the day of the membership contribution. For example, if you make your membership contribution on May 15, 2024, your membership will expire May 15, 2025. You will receive a reminder to renew your membership before your member benefits expire.

  • Through the email address you used to contribute to Sandy Spring Museum, you will receive monthly enewsletters about upcoming events and benefits.

  • Exhibit artwork, whether in the main Exhibit Hall or in a Community Gallery, is not eligible for a member discount. Only artwork displayed in the gift shop is eligible for the 10% membership discount.
