Garden Club

Garden Club volunteers planting outside the museum

Sandy Spring Museum’s Garden Club was founded in 1991 by Mary Rice to maintain the Museum gardens and to promote horticultural education.

The Garden Club hosts educational programs, sponsors trips, creates and sells holiday greens, runs the Strawberry Festival Plant Booth, and holds a biannual Garden Tour. Anyone who is a museum member may join the Garden Club. Its members are a welcoming, inclusive, fun group of people! Programs are held four times a year. Visit the Events & Programs calendar for details.
